About Solitude Labs
At Solitude Labs, our mission is to secure the world’s critical infrastructure. Solitude Labs is building the first completely decentralized, zero-trust cybersecurity platform purpose-built for operational technology (OT) and Industrial Control System (ICS) environments. Our technology ensures that every connection between devices, controllers, and systems is inherently secure, resilient, and verifiable. By eliminating single points of failure and enabling secure communications at scale, we're redefining how industrial networks defend themselves.
Solitude Labs is backed by top institutional investors, including Valor Equity Partners, Origin Ventures, and the University of Chicago.
Your Role
- Own the frontend stack from the ground up including architecture, tooling, component system, and the first production application
- Design and build the customer-facing product: dashboards, workflows, and visualizations that map to how customers monitor OT assets, with alerting, investigating security breaches, managing device trust, and responding to incidents
- Work directly with the founding team to shape product direction; you’ll have a real say in what gets built, not just how
- Spend time with control room operators, OT security practitioners, and field technicians — observe their workflows and turn what you learn into the product
- Translate complex concepts (zero-trust policy, network segmentation, PKI, cryptographic attestation) into intuitive functionality that critical infrastructure operators can trust on the good days and the bad
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams on APIs, data models, and the system architecture behind a responsive operator experience
- Drive customer integrations and use each deployment to sharpen flows around onboarding, device enrollment, policy management, and incident response
What We're Looking For
- BS (MS/PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Computer & Electrical Engineering, Math, Engineering, or a related field
- US Person
- 2+ years of production frontend experience with strong JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge and a modern framework (React, Vue, Svelte, etc.)
- Has a strong eye for design and interaction — wireframes, data visualization, design system thinking — and the ability to execute on it in code. Has experience or interest in cybersecurity products (firewalls, VPNs, PKI, IDS, IPS)
- Understanding of computer networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.)
- Comfortable working with customers & end-users, conducting customer interviews & gathering feedback, and turning that into shipped product
- Enjoys owning projects end-to-end and works well in ambiguity
Compensation
- Competitive Salary + Significant Equity Package
This is a chance to work on something that matters — protecting critical infrastructure millions of people depend on — with real influence over the product as an early team member. If you want to solve hard technical problems and make an impact on national security, we want to talk to you.
Senior DevSecOps Engineer
Our platform runs alongside industrial control systems and devices that are deployed in real utility and industrial environments. You will own the testing infrastructure that ensures our technology is robust: CI/CD and code quality automation, and the QA and reliability test infrastructure that runs against real hardware.

Your Role
- Own the CI/CD pipeline and the automated testing that runs on top of it — linting, code quality, unit, integration
- Build the QA test infrastructure: the frameworks, harnesses, and tooling our team uses to validate that firmware and embedded software work
- Design and run long-form reliability campaigns on software and hardware: soak tests, endurance runs, chaos and fault injection, fuzzing — the stuff that catches failures only visible after extended periods of time
- Build out software and hardware-in-the-loop setups so firmware gets validated against real devices in realistic network and grid conditions
- Build test environments that mirror what customers run, including air-gapped and constrained network setups
- Own the release pipeline end-to-end — from versioning and signing to secure OTA firmware delivery, rollback, and fleet-wide observability. You’ll define what "shipped" means at Solitude Labs and build the systems that make it repeatable and trustworthy.
- Integrate security validation into the release cadence — fuzzing, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
What We're Looking For
- BS (MS/PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Computer & Electrical Engineering, Math, Engineering, or a related field
- US Person
- 5+ years building test and CI/CD infrastructure for embedded or hardware-adjacent products
- Strong with modern CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Buildkite, Jenkins)
- Track record running long-form reliability tests: soak, chaos, fuzzing, fault injection — and turning the results into fixes
- Highly proficient in Linux and Windows, including cross-compilation, device flashing, serial debugging, and embedded toolchains
- Comfortable with the security side: signing, SBOMs, supply chain, secrets, secure firmware update
- Cybersecurity background is a plus; experience in OT/ICS a bigger plus
- Enjoys owning projects end-to-end and works well in ambiguity
